Product Care

From the very first day “Care” is a key element of LaMunt’s DNA. It is not a matter of long-term goals; it is about mindful decisions we take every day. LaMunt Cares continues to be one of the key pillars of our product development.

LaMunt Cares means selecting suppliers and materials carefully, designing our products to last as long as possible, and sharing knowledge on how best to care for them to prolong their lifetime.

ReMOCA Pad®

Our ReMOCA Pad® insulation is made from the offcuts of POMOCA ski touring skins, combined with post-consumer recycled polyester fibers, and provides outstanding technical performance and high thermal capacity. Care for ReMOCA Padded ® items for their longevity and performance: Follow the care label instructions. Avoid frequent washing, air them out instead. Use gentle detergent, no softeners and wash on delicate, low temperature and low spin. Air dry to preserve LaMunt’s inhouse synthetic insulation.

LUXEPAD CASHMERE

We use recycled cashmere fill (LuxePad) in our insulation jackets for technical and sustainable performance. This high-quality material is perfectly in tune with our desire to use natural and recycled materials that ensure thermal comfort and breathability. Care of the product ensures longevity and performance. Empty pockets to avoid surprises and close zippers and velcros to prevent snagging. Use wool detergent, no softener. Choose wool program on your washing machine, lay your jacket flat and air dry to maintain the shape.

SHELLS

Shell jackets block rain, wind, and snow while letting moisture escape. Keep them clean to maintain their performance. Wash shell jackets following the care instructions and only if really needed. Use neutral soap and no softeners. If water repellency is not working because rain or water do not bead up on the fabric as usual, reactivate it with low-temperature tumble drying, or ironing with a cloth between fabric and iron. If this is not enough, you can reapply a DWR treatment after washing it only on the external fabrics. Stay always cozy and dry in the mountains with LaMunts shells.

FLEECE

Synthetic blends are versatile, from cozy fleeces to tough, cut-resistant pants. Caring about them is crucial to ensure the products longevity. Air dry damp clothes to remove moisture and wash them inside out to prevent pilling or snagging. It is better to zip up zippers and secure any Velcro. Use a guppy bag for delicate fabrics and wash gently, low temperature, low spinning for best results.

TENCEL

Discover the perfect blend of comfort and sustainability in our t-shirts. Modal and cotton jersey intertwine for a soft, natural feel, while Tencel® fabric, from Eucalyptus trees, offers sustainable durability. Follow care instructions diligently, turning garments inside out and avoiding washing with sharp trims. Opt for appropriate detergent avoid using softener and utilize low temperature and gentle cycles. Ensure thorough rinsing and consider air drying for optimal results.
