The mountain is female. Already the brand name itself embodies the feminine perspective on the mountain: “La Munt” is the Ladin word for “the mountain” - which is in the ancient romance language. It sounds melodic and rough, feminine and strong.
The idea for the name came from our founder’s grandmother who grew up in Alta Badia, a region in the heart of the Dolomites, where Ladin is still today used as an everyday language.We take the approach “by women for women” to heart and we value the input and feedback. From workshops at the beginning, we created the LaMunt Crew, a group of diverse women from different backgrounds (entrepreneurs, teachers, graphic designers, mountain professionals, journalists and more), who are all united by their passion for the mountains and mountain sports.

After you have placed an order in the LaMunt Online Shop, you can unfortunately no longer change it. However, returns are always possible for any reason in 30 days or less.
We currently accept following payment methods: credit card (Mastercard or Visa), or instant bank transfer by Klarna (only in AT, DE).
If you pay by credit card, the total amount will be reserved on your account immediately when the order is placed. The money is then charged when your order was shipped and left our warehouse. If you pay by instant bank transfer by Klarna, the total amount will be charged immediately.
The invoice of your order will be sent to you via email after your order has left our warehouse.

All products will be shipped in 1-3 days after the order is received. The delivery times given are however related to the day a package is transferred to the delivery service.
Since your order is processed immediately after you placed it, we are unfortunately unable to change a shipping address after an order has been placed. If you have additional questions regarding this, please get in touch with us.

Yes, the updated status of your order can be tracked in real time. As soon as your package is transferred to our forwarded. Check your inbox for the shipping confirmation e-mail that you received. Here you find a tracking number.
At the present time, we do not offer the option to exchange products. Therefore, you have to kindly follow the procedure steps for the returns in order to receive a refund. You will then have to place a new order.
Making a return is free and easy. You can do that in 30 days or less after you received it. Essential to know is, that we can only accept returns of products that are still in original condition.
To start the process, we ask that you input your email address as well as your order number (found in the confirmation email for your order) in our returns section here.
Returns at LaMunt.com are always free of charge. Simply navigate to our returns section and follow the process here.
Your return will be processed immediately after we received it back at our warehouse. We will trigger your refund once the return process was finished which takes in average 5 working days.
All returns must be made within 30 days from the order confirmation email. We reserve the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.

“Care” is a key element in our product development and a part of LaMunt’s DNA from the very first day. It’s not only a matter of long-term goals; it is about conscious decisions we take on an everyday level.
This starts with our partnerships: our products are manufactured in audited factories that are committed to fair working conditions and social standards. LaMunt is a member of Fair Wear Foundation, an expert non-profit organization in the promotion and improvement of working conditions in the textile industry.
As a brand, we believe every decision we make matters. While bringing our first collection to life, it was obvious that we would select materials carefully (e.g. bluesign®) and use certified fabrics or test them according to our strict Oberalp Chemical Policy, to make sure that only safe chemicals are used in our products. Therefore, our collections are made with materials that do not use PFAs. Additionally, and to keep our environmental impact to a minimum, we use a range of recycled and natural materials.

We choose our materials mindfully and design our products for high quality and to be durable. Products with defects in materials or workmanship will be replaced or repaired by LaMunt within the statutory warranty period of 2 years. The warranty period of two years applies in Europe, it may differ in non-European countries depending on national legislation. There is no warranty claim for product damage due to wearing and tearing it, and improper or negligent use. Nevertheless, we offer a repair service after consultation with our Customer Care Team and against final costs to extend the life cycle of your product as far as possible. To ensure that your LaMunt product stays with you as long as possible, we offer a free repair service for products that are still under warranty. Please contact our Customer Care Team here. Our Customer Care Team will assess your needs, decide where to repair your product and inform you about all the necessary steps.
